The Middle East Christian Committee (MECHRIC) recognizes that the Christians in Iraq and Iran who have issued statements in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and condemning the targeting of General Soleimani by the US are acting under duress. There is no doubt that Soleimani’s demise will disrupt Iran’s ability to sow terror throughout the region.

Those Christians supporting Iran are the useful idiots of the Mullahs and have no popular support from the Assyro-Chaldean community nor from any other Christian community in the ME as they have all suffered a low level genocide because of the terrorist policies pursued by the Islamic Republic and carried out by Soleimani.
