The American Mideast Coalition for Democracy strong supports President Trump’s appointments. Each of these people is characterized as an “outsider,” who will help to reduce the size and scope of the federal government as well as the direction of the military and intelligence agencies.
We fully support Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy in their goal of shrinking the federal bureaucracy and government agencies in the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
“The American people voted overwhelmingly to clean up Washington,” said AMCD co-chair Tom Harb. “The country has suffered under the burdensome bureaucracy of government and the corruption of our elected representatives for too long. We, the people, deserve better. These reforms will unleash American creativity on an unprecedented scale.”
We cheer the selection of Pete Hegseth to be our Secretary of Defense and Tulsi Gabbard to be our Director of National Security. Hegseth and Gabbard have both served our military with distinction and will be mindful of the costs of conflict.
“The military has been a boondoggle of corruption with a revolving door between the Department of Defense and military contractors for much too long,” added AMCD co-chair John Hajjar. “We are tired of seeing our tax-dollars going to line the pockets of corrupt politicians. We voted for accountability, and it appears we just may get it.”
We are overjoyed at the prospect of Senator Marco Rubio becoming Secretary of State and of Matt Gaetz as Attorney General of the United States.
“Marco Rubio has the temperament and expertise to be an excellent Secretary of State,” began former AMCD co-chair, Hossein Khorram. “And after suffering through the weaponization of the Department of Justice over these past four years, it will be a refreshing change to welcome a man who has been targeted himself and who will end these corrupt Third-World practices once and for all.
We applaud the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as head of Health and Human Services in his goal to make America healthy again
“Along with RFK Jr.’s focus on cleaning up foods and medicines, which is sorely needed, I would like to see policies aimed at strengthening the American family as well,” said former AMCD Executive Director, Rebecca Bynum. “The family is the glue that holds civilization together and is the conduit through which our highest values are transmitted from generation to generation. Strong families make for a strong country, and I hope to see policies encouraging family life.”
We at AMCD are greatly encouraged by the direction these nominees signal: a return to basic American values and common sense. Hurrah from President Trump!
