Iranian Dissidents Push Regime Change Forward in Iran

For years the liberal left have been providing legitimacy and cover for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s baseless accusations against the conservatives in the United States and other Western nations for fomenting regime change in Iran.

The apologist liberals have been professing the United States’ guilt for the 1953 Iranian coup d’état, where General Fazlollah Zahedi’s Government was formed and which allowed Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran, to maintain power.

Nothing upsets the Islamic regime more than the prospect of being unseated, and after 41 years, the Islamic regime has succeeded to bring that about itself.

Pouya Bakhtiari an Iranian protester who was shot and killed on November 16, 2019 in Karaj, Iran has brought the idea of regime change into broad daylight right in the capital of the Islamic Republic.

For the first time ever, in utter defiance of the clerical regime, Manuchehr Bakthiari, the father of the late Pouya Bakhtiari, is publicly challenging the Islamic Regime.

Manuchehr Bakhtiari, who served for five years in the Iran–Iraq War is hinting at regime change by holding the 500 years old Lion and Sun flag, a symbol of Iranian nationalism and posting in on his Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/m__bakhtyari/  where the photo of his slayed son is also posted.

Over the past 41 years, conservatives in the West capitulated to the Iranian Islamists for political correctness while quietly continuing conventional arms sales to the Arab nations. Sadly, now we have to deal with a nuclear armed Iran which is trying to impose Sharia Law across the Middle East, Europe and the United States.

The United States must seize this opportunity and provide material non-lethal support to the Iranians who wish to replace the Islamic regime with a secular and democratically elected one.
