The American Mideast Coalition for Democracy fully supports the International Committee on Nigeria (ICON) and the Endowment for Middle East Truth (EMET) as they jointly host the “Capitol Hill Forum on Terrorism and Religious Violence” on April 22, 2026, at 1:30 PM in the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center.
The suffering of Christian Africans who are subject to repeated attacks—murders, rapes, kidnappings, as well as the destruction of crops and livestock, have left these people destitute; but nevertheless, they cling to their faith and pray for deliverance.
AMCD joins EMET and ICON in urging Congressional action to protect these vulnerable, non-violent people seeking only to exercise their human right to freedom of religion.
