Amid joint US and Israeli Operation Epic Fury, which decapitated the entire Iranian leadership structure on the first day (Feb. 28), and took out most of the leadership of Hezbollah in Lebanon immediately after it launched attacks on Israel on March 2nd, the American Mideast Coalition for Democracy praised President Trump for his leadership and clarity of vision.
“Trump has just reshuffled the deck in the Middle East,” said AMCD co-chair, Tom Harb. “Every administration since Carter has kicked the can of reckoning down the road and allowed Iran to become so strong, they were threatening the US and Europe with nuclear weapons just a few months ago, and the answer was always appeasement, appeasement, and more appeasement. President Trump is finally doing what needed to be done.”
“While we mourn the loss of the four servicemembers killed in action so far,” began AMCD co-chair John Hajjar, “we understand their sacrifice has saved the world from far more terrible destruction at the hands of these fanatics, who actually wanted to usher in Armageddon—world-wide destruction—in order to fulfil their insane theological prophesies. We also want to acknowledge the bravery and sacrifice of our ally, the Israeli military and especially to thank them for their operations in Lebanon.”
AMCD hopes that in the next few weeks, Iran will see many of her brave patriots stabilize the country and prepare a democratic transition. The great Persian lion has reawakened from its long sleep under the stifling blanket of Islamic Shia theocracy. We pray that the Iranian people can reclaim their glorious Perian past as they trace their suddenly wide-open future; and that war between Shia and Sunni across the region will also cease, as the mullah regime in Iran utterly collapses after foolishly goading the United States and Israel into war.
A pro-western Iran will change the political map of the world and change the dynamic of the Middle East forever. A new and brighter future is dawning for all the people of the Middle East and the whole world is breathing a sigh of relief.
